Amazing photographer Carol DeCapua captures what’s happening every dawn on Lordship’s shore, treating her Facebook fans with daily photographic journeys. And the LIA is thrilled to feature her dramatic dawn flight of seagulls at Short Beach as the January photo in the LIA’s new 2026 ‘Lordship by the Sea’ calendar. It’s a great start to the calendar’s 12-month journey through Lordship’s spectacular shore.
Carol is among many Lordship photographers and artists who graciously allowed the LIA to showcase their work in the calendar now on display and available for purchase here:

I just am addicted to Carol DeCapua's daily early morning treks with captions about Lordship's flora, fauna and skyline. Kathleen Dunn's walkabouts with dear Arlo (her dog) and her myriad multi-media artistic accomplishments are so amazing. Lordship is replete with artistic talent.
