Beautification Committee and more LIA folks created beautiful centerpiece plantings and circular brick walkway in Beach Drive Park and won Town Award!

January 2013 & 2014 - Annual Dune Replenishment Project - With the help of the Town of Stratford and many volunteers, we used 250 Christmas Trees to build sand dunes to protect the beach from further erosion. For further information and photos, please click on the News section and select Dune Replenishment Project.

April 28, 2012 - Project Greensweep - We had almost 30 volunteers conduct the largest Russian Beach cleanup in decades. We removed an old dock and a ton of debris.

August 2012 - Our Beautification & Parks Committee spent a weekend and cleaned up, painted, and improved the town-owned area in front of the Lordship Deli in Lordship Center.

Summer and Fall 2011 - Richard Diedrichsen and Tom Halverson spent many hours removing brush and improving the view of the wooded area between the Beach and the Bluff. We also cleared the culvert at the end of Laurel Street.
