FREE. Starts at 2pm (Oct. 5) at the Lordship Bluffs (Park Boulevard). Lordship Historian Tom Halverson will lead a fascinating tour of Lordship’s historic areas, covering roughly 5 miles by car pooling, golf cart or bicycle. (Park on streets or Margherita Lawn esplanade, not the Bluffs lawn or Park Boulevard.) Starting with a talk at the Bluffs about shipwrecks and more, the tour proceeds to the top of the hill at Prospect Drive to learn about gold digging and pirates. Next: Stratford Point and the Audubon area, then Breezy Point (by the condos) and the Rotary. As of today, weather prediction is sunny and low 70s. (Note: This is Tom’s project, not an LIA event.) See you there!
