On Thursday, Howard Aspinwall, owner of the Mellow Monkey, presented a check representing a large chunk of sales of the LIA's 2024 'A Walk Through Lordship' Calendar to LIA President Jim Warren. Calendar sales at the retail location and online (at no charge to the LIA) were a major boost to this year's fundraiser - with all proceeds supporting next year's beautification and enviro projects of the Lordship Improvement Association (www.LordshipCT.org).
Interesting statistic: A third of the sales were online!
The LIA's annual calendar was an early sellout this year. But tremendous holiday decor, gifts, local items and generally fun stuff still pack the huge Mellow Monkey store at 360 Sniffens Lane, Stratford - and online at https://MellowMonkey.com.
Mellow Monkey has earned four consecutive wins as Best of Connecticut for gifts, home decor and lighting in Connecticut Magazine. And Howard is a much appreciated supporter of many community projects.
