Autumn is already in the air, and “We have work to do!” notes Karen Kochiss, who is chair of the Lordship Improvement Association’s (LIA) Parks & Beautification committee. In addition to maintaining the beautiful Lordship Bluffs, the LIA created and maintains 8 community gardens.
“We are short on garden volunteers for general cleanup and bulb planting,” Karen adds. So if you enjoy being outdoors and meeting and bonding with neighbors in beautifying Lordship, please let Karen know with an email to: LordshipIA@gmail.com.
PS: You can learn more about each garden here: https://bit.ly/LIAgardens.
The LIA is an all-volunteer, non-profit land trust. Thanks for your support! www.LordshipCT.org.
