‘Lordship by the Sea’ – the sixth annual fundraising calendar produced by the Lordship Improvement Association (LIA) - is now available in Lordship stores and online. And early reviews say it’s “The best yet” … “Seasonally beautiful and so colorful. Each month adds a smile” … “Love it!”

We think you’ll smile, too, starting with local artist Karen Essig’s dreamy cover drawing, “Dunes on the Beach” (which is also featured in the month of July).

Great for your home and gifts, the 2026 calendar features photos and drawings from local photographers and artists that showcase beautiful scenes from and representing our unique seaside community.

The popular annual calendar is available now at:

·         Lordship Corner Market, 348 Stratford Road

·         Mellow Monkey, 360 Sniffens Lane

·         Dal Mare Pizzeria, 346 Stratford Road. FREE PIZZA SLICE with every purchase! Note: Reopens from vacation on Sept. 8

·         Breezy Point Auto Repairs, 609 Main Street

·         Online (courtesy Mellow Monkey) at: https://bit.ly/LIA2026Calendar

You can also visit the LIA booth for the 2026 calendar here:

·         September 20: APPLE FESTIVAL & VENDOR FAIR, Lordship Community Church, 179 Prospect Drive, 9am – 3pm

·         October 5: ART IN THE PARK, Greg Ackley Memorial Park (the Gazebo), junction Stratford Road and Prospect Drive, 10am – 3pm

·         December 6: ST. JOSEPH’S CHRISTMAS FAIR, St. Joseph’s of Stratford, National Catholic Church, 1300 Stratford Road, 9am – 3pm

Produced by the LIA’s Calendar Committee, this sixth edition once again challenged the committee with choosing photos and drawings from more than 30 Lordship photographers and artists for consideration. All submissions were greatly appreciated.

This year, you’ll enjoy stunning photos and art by (alphabetically, according to last name): Carol DeCapua, Denise Demong, Karen Essig, Pete Fearon, Lisa Ferrara, John Florian, Jennifer Hradek, Charlie Lautier, Cappie (Katherine) Perras, Edward Regnier, Luciana D. Spurkeland and Sandy Tripodi.

PS: Great appreciation also goes to Emily Marangos, who has expertly designed all six of the LIA’s calendars.

And thank YOU for your support of the LIA (www.LordshipCT.org)!
