Want to plunge into 2023 - literally? On New Year's Day, come down to the beach at the Lordship Seawall at 9am and join the New Year's Day Polar Plunge! Proceeds from the event benefit Make-A-Wish Connecticut, and it's organized by Surfside Hotel/Little Pub, which will offer prizes, hot coffee and hot chocolate for plungers. But you can also just watch the fun, too - and donate to this great charity. The actual plunge happens at 10am. Details:
