Hello Neighbors,
The Lordship Improvement Association (LIA) will spread wood chips on the nature path at Russian Beach - and we'd appreciate your help! On April 26, the Town of Stratford will deliver a pile of wood chips to the esplanade on Victoria Lawn. We need volunteers to bring wheelbarrows, pitchforks and rakes to move the chips down to the path and spread them. Stratford Greensweep is April 30, but we want to get a head start to minimize the time the pile is on the esplanade. Please plan to help whenever you can. Here's how to help:
• Load your wheelbarrow at Victoria (see accompanying map)
• Wheel it to beach access. Roll your wheelbarrow directly down to the pathway.
• Spread chips to a depth of approximately 4” depth
• Wear sunscreen and insect repellent. •
