A number of important Lordship Improvement Association (LIA) projects will be discussed at the next quarterly Committees Meeting, Wednesday, November 19, from 7 to 8pm at St. Joseph’s of Stratford Church, 1300 Stratford Road, Stratford.

Open to the public, the Committees Meetings include updates from committee chairs and LIA member discussions on current activities and plans for LIA Lordship beautification, environmental and educational projects.

Topping the agenda is the final report and recommendations of the LIA’s independent Motorized Vehicles Task Force, which was formed earlier this year to examine the driving and parking of golf carts on the Lordship Bluffs lawn. The presentation will include slides and a detailed explanation of research leading to recommendations.

The LIA will also update attendees on progress of the multi-year Lordship Bluffs Restoration Project.

Additional reports will be presented by the LIA Treasurer, Burgess, and chairs of the Parks & Beautification, Environment and Education, and Communication committees.

The all-volunteer, non-profit Lordship Improvement Association (LIA) manages the Lordship Bluffs and Russian Beach through a land trust, sponsors educational events, and created and maintains eight Lordship community gardens.
